Play Terms & Venue Rules

Adult Supervision

All children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Parents and carers remain responsible for the children in their care throughout their visit.

We encourage grown-ups to get involved too! Grab a stethoscope, put on a hard hat and join in with the imaginative play – although you may well find yourself locked in the prison cell!

Our Two Golden Rules

Please talk to your children about these two rules before they begin playing. They are there to help keep everyone safe while enjoying iTown.

Shoes & Clothing

Shoes must be removed before entering the play area. Socks or tights should be worn while playing.

Toys, Props & Play Areas

Our toys and props have been carefully selected to bring each of iTown's themed areas to life and encourage imaginative, real-world play.

Some props, decorations and real-world items may contain small pieces or have harder or sharper surfaces. Some items may therefore be unsuitable for younger children, particularly children aged 3 and under, without close adult supervision.

Please supervise your child's use of toys and props and ensure they are used appropriately.

Children must not climb on furniture, props or equipment unless it has been specifically designed for climbing.

Food & Drink

Food and drink must not be taken into the main play area. Please use the designated café and seating areas for eating and drinking.

Prams, Buggies & Personal Belongings

Prams and buggies are not permitted within the main play area and should be left in the designated area.

Personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner and are left at your own risk.

Feeling Unwell?

Please do not visit iTown if you or your child has a contagious illness such as chickenpox, hand, foot and mouth disease, COVID-19 or another illness that could easily be passed to other visitors.

Following sickness or a stomach bug, please wait at least 48 hours after the last episode of sickness or diarrhoea before visiting.

Photos & Videos

You're very welcome to take photographs and videos of your own children during your visit – and we love seeing families tag, like and share their iTown adventures on social media.

Please respect the privacy of other families and do not deliberately photograph or record other children without permission from their parent or guardian.

During Your Visit

Visitors may arrive and leave at any time permitted by their booked admission and our opening hours.

Before leaving, we really appreciate everyone helping to return toys and props to their homes. It helps us keep iTown ready for everyone to enjoy.
