The Play Pass
What is The Play Pass?
The Play Pass is a digital membership that provides discounts to admissions and selected products during the online booking process at iBounce & iTown Newton Abbot.
 
Who does the membership apply to?
The membership applies to the account holder making the online booking.
 
What does the discount apply to?
The discount applies to online bookings that include:
  • Socks, party bags, slush
What doesn't the discount apply to?
The discount does not apply to:
Does the discount work in venue (walk in bookings) or over the phone?
No. The Play Pass is online bookings only.
 
What is the birthday cake benefit?
Members receive one FREE Angel Cake birthday cake on online-booked birthday parties for 10 children or more, available at both iBounce and iTown Newton Abbot. This cake can be purchased separately.
 
Do I get the birthday cake if I cancel my subscription?
No. All benefits, including the birthday cake, are only available while your subscription is active.
 
Is there a minimum commitment?
No long-term commitment. The membership is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

Occombe Farm Pass – Updated Admission Offer

iTown previously offered free admission to holders of valid Occombe Farm annual passes as a goodwill gesture.

Following a review of how the offer was being used, this arrangement has now been replaced with a 25% advance online booking discount, available to Occombe Farm pass holders and the wider public.

How to redeem:

  • Book your visit online in advance

  • Enter discount code 25occombe at checkout

  • Receive 25% off standard admission

  • Free walk-in admission is no longer available

We regularly review our pricing and offers to ensure they remain fair, sustainable, and enjoyable for all visitors.

How do I book?

We recommend that all visits are pre-booked online on our website. If you don’t book online, you won't guarantee your play space. All of our sessions have limited spaces for health and safety reasons.

How do I get to iTown?

iTown is convieniently located in Newton Abbot town centre.

We are a 10 minute walk from the train station, and directly on the major bus route.

There is plenty of parking nearby on the road or in local car parks (payment required).

We have a 'loading bay' right outside if needed.

We have a video on our social media showing where the nearest car park is.

Are you part of a franchise?

Great question!  iTown Newton Abbot is the original iTown venue and has been specifically designed to become a franchise and grow the registered brand throughout the UK.

I have voucher, how can I use it?
There are several ways to use your iTown/iBounce Newton Abbot voucher code for standard admissions:
  1. Online Booking:
  • Visit the iTown Newton Abbot website: https://itown-newtonabbot.co.uk/ or the iBounce Newton Abbot website: https://ibounce-newtonabbot.co.uk/
  • Select the "Book Now" option and choose the date and time you wish to visit.
  • Choose the "Standard Admission" tickets and enter your voucher code in the designated field at the checkout.
  • The voucher value will be deducted from your total.
  1. In-Person Booking:
  • Visit the iTown/iBounce Newton Abbot venue during opening hours.
  • Present your voucher code to the staff at the reception desk when purchasing your tickets.
  • The staff will process the voucher and deduct the value from your total.
  1. Phone Booking:
  • Call the iTown/iBounce Newton Abbot venue during opening hours.
  • Inform the staff that you have a voucher code for standard admissions.
  • Provide the voucher code to the staff, and they will assist you with the booking process.

Additional Notes:

  • Ensure the voucher is valid for "Standard Admissions" only, as it may not be applicable for other ticket types or special events.
  • Check the voucher's expiry date and any other terms and conditions associated with it.
  • If you encounter any issues while using the voucher, contact iTown/iBounce Newton Abbot directly for assistance.

By following these steps, you can easily redeem your voucher code and enjoy your visit to iTown/iBounce Newton Abbot.

This applies to all voucher codes from a birthday party, Black Friday, donation or gift vouchers unless the voucher contains specific information to say otherwise.

 

Can I take photos?

Yes!  You may take photos and video of your own child(ren).

We love seeing these on our social media pages!  Don't forget to tag us so we can se the fun you were having. 

However, we ask that you do not take photos or video of any other children for safeguarding reasons.

Do you do a Childminders annual pass ?

Yes we do but only for a short period of time so get one whilst you can.

Terms & conditions apply. Please do not bring packed lunches into iTown unless it is for a specific childs allergens.

Can I bring my pushchair or pram?

Yes of course. We ask that you leave them then the entrance hall and in the dedicated pram parking area at all times during your visit.

iTown cannot take responsibility for your personal items.

Is there an age limit?

We are now open to all ages! 

There is no upper age limit for adults! 

Feel free to bring your baby that is not yet walking.  See FAQ regarding babies for more information.

Can I bring my own toys to iTown?

Please do not bring your own toys to iTown. We have lots to play with and we wouldn't want you to leave anything of yours behind.

Why are there terms & conditions on my free voucher ?

Validity and Extension:

  • Initial Validity: All free vouchers/codes will be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance.
  • Extension: If the voucher holder is unable to use the voucher within the initial 3-month period due to personal circumstances, an extension may be granted.
  • Extension Fees: For extensions beyond the initial 3-month period, the following fees will apply:
    • 6 Months: 50% of the booking value
    • 9 Months: 75% of the booking value
    • 12 Months: 100% of the booking value

Additional Considerations:

The vouchers/codes are not be transferable or refundable.

Bookings cannot be made on Christmas, Boxing or New years day.

Any bookings using the free voucher or code cannot be gifted, sold or used against any other type of booking or for whom the booking was origionally made.

What is the walk-in charge?

To help manage capacity, walk-in bookings will now include a £1 walk-in fee per booking. Booking online remains the best way to avoid this and guarantee your preferred session.

Do you have parking?

We do not have any free parking available at the premises.

There are pay and display parking spaces very close by, including on-street parking on Queen's Street, and the Cricket Field Car Park (see video on our social media of where this is).

What are your opening hours?

Please look for the schedules on our website, as timings may differ between term time, school holidays, week days & weekends.

You can find this information on the 'Prices' tab.

What if I have food allergies?

We understand that some people may have sensitive food allergies and therefore we provide an allergy data chart for you to peruse.

However, whilst we take every care possible, we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of the allergens in the food or drink we prepare for you.

Can my children come and play without a parent & guardian?

No. All children aged 17 years & under must have a parent or guardian present on site at all times.

 

Can my child play alone?

Any child aged 1-7 years old can play without a parent or guardian playing with them, but a parent or guardian MUST be on site supervising at all times.

However, we believe in the power of play at iTown, for adults and children, so encourage you to play alongside your child.

Do I have to pay for my baby that is not yet walking?

No.  Feel free to bring your baby that is not yet walking.   All we ask is that you take good care of your baby whilst you are playing with your other children that you have brought to iTown.

Please feel free to breastfeed if you would like to do so.

Why can I only book 2 adults per child?

We have very limited space available for our sessions, and we want as many of the little ones to enjoy iTown as possible.

So we have to limit the spaces available for the adults.  But 2 adults can attend per child.

Adults can only book if they book at least 1 child space.

Do you do offer's?

Yes we do on occasion and at no specific time.

All offer's are individual and cannot be used or combined with any other offer.

Can we play in our shoes?

No.  Please play in either slippers, socks or tights.  But not shoes. 

We ask children and adults alike to please remove shoes before using the play area.

We recommend socks with grips as this can prevent slipping. 

iBounce Newton Abbot socks are available to purchase.

Please wear your socks at all times for hygiene reasons.

iTown does not take responsibility for any personal belongings.

We have recently noticed discussions about our application to Ofsted for a Day Care Nursery on a local community Facebook page. While this plan is still in its early stages and may not progress further, we aim to be transparent by sharing our potential proposals with the public. This is just one of the potential proposals we have for the business, we are in a very fortunate position as the building is of a size that where we can potentially add several different facilities to run alongside our current business model that is, iTown. As owners, we are continuously engaging in discussions to improve iTown and welcome feedback and suggestions from the community. Our primary objective is to maintain iTown's operations while enhancing customer satisfaction. We believe in providing a valuable and enjoyable experience to our patrons. In an effort to adapt to feedback, we have introduced new initiatives such as 'All Day Stay & Play' sessions, allowing unlimited playtime, and 'All Ages days' from Sunday to Wednesday. We are committed to listening to feedback and making necessary adjustments. Small businesses rely on public support to thrive, especially in the face of increasing negative social media coverage. Can I wear my own socks?

Yes of course. We recommend the iBounce socks as they are nice and grippy, but regular socks are fine too.

Please wear socks at all times for hygiene reasons.

iTown does not accept responsibility for personal belongings.

If I am not playing, is there somewhere I can wait for my children?

Absolutely. You can remain in the seating/cafe area. Anyone entering iTown Newton Abbot must be booked in and have paid the relevant entrance fee. Please bear in mind the seating area can get busy at peak times.

Do you have wheelchair access?

We have wheelchair access to most areas of the building. 

Can I play if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can play if you are pregnant, but will still be charged the relavent entrace fee as you need to supervise your own children.

Can I play if I require a carer?

Yes, your carer can be in iTown with you and will be charged the relavent entrance fee for the session.

Can I bring my own food?

No. Only food and drink purchased from our café & ice-cream parlour are to be consumed on site.

For party bookings we do allow birthday cakes & if you have a person(s) in the party with a specific dietary requirement then please do bring a packed lunch for that person(s).

Is my booking refundable or transferable?

All bookings are non-refundable. We can, however, provide a credit for bookings that have given at least 24 hours prior notice to their booking time.

This includes party bookings, annual passes, mini memberships or any form of entrance of any kind at any point or how you have purchased the entrance. 

What time should I arrive for my booking?

You are welcome to arrive at anypoint from our opening time which may vary depending on the season.

Our Summer opening is from 10am and our Autumn, Winter and Spring opening time is from 9am.

Do you do annual memberships?

 

We have an iTown and iBounce annual membership starting from just £50 and going up to £149 depending on your availability and circumstsances. 

This is for one named child and one adult.  This can be used for peak or off-peak sessions or both depending on the annual pass you choose. 

This cannot be transferred, refunded or sold, used for parties or for private hire.

If you would like to purchase an annual membership then please speak with a member of staff, and we will arrange this for you.

If you would like to purchase your membership whilst visiting iTown then we will deduct the child's entrance off the orice of the annual pass. 

This can only be done whilst you are in iTown and cannot be deducted after you have visited.

We also have annual membership with sibling discounts, aall passes are dual-site annual memberships with iBounce Newton Abbot.

Any membership can be used for one session per day. Please do not book additional sessions on the same day with your membership code.

If you are found to be abusing the membership code, then the management has the right to retract the membership code without warning and no refund will be given. 

All we ask is that you use your membership code responsibly and come as often as you can for one session of your choosing.

Please bear in mind that the annual pass will allow entry for peak or off-peak or either sessions depending on which pass you purchase, but not parties, events or private hire.
