Yes. iTown has been designed around learning through imaginative play.

Our role-play areas have been developed with links to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and elements of the National Curriculum, helping children build confidence, communication, creativity and social skills while they play.

The most important part is that children are having fun — the learning happens naturally through exploring, pretending, interacting and creating their own stories.

Yes. Pushchairs and prams can be brought into the venue but must be left in the designated pram parking area rather than taken into the main play area.

Personal belongings remain your responsibility while visiting iTown.

iTown welcomes children of all ages, including babies who are not yet walking.

Adults are welcome to get involved in the imaginative play too — we believe play is good for all ages!

Children must remain appropriately supervised by a responsible adult throughout their visit.

Children can explore and play independently within iTown, but a responsible adult must remain on site and supervise them at all times.

We also encourage parents and carers to get involved — imaginative play is much more fun together!

Please leave your own toys at home.

There are plenty of toys, costumes and props available throughout iTown, and this also helps prevent personal belongings being lost or mixed up with venue equipment.

iTown does not have its own customer car park, but there are several parking options nearby in Newton Abbot town centre.

Limited on-street parking may be available around the venue, and there are also pay-and-display car parks nearby, including parking around Queen Street and Cricketfield Road.

No. Babies who are not yet walking can attend without a child admission charge.

Our venue has limited capacity, and we want to keep as many spaces as possible available for children to enjoy iTown.

Up to two adults can normally attend per child booking. Adult places must be booked alongside at least one child admission.

Yes. Shoes must be removed before entering the main play area.

Socks or tights should be worn at all times for hygiene and safety. Grip socks are recommended but are not compulsory.

Some areas of iTown use decorative lighting, including lasers and flashing lights, which may occasionally create a strobe-style effect.

If you or your child are sensitive to flashing lights, please speak to a member of our team. We can advise which areas of the venue are least affected.

During normal play sessions we generally keep background music to a minimum to support children's communication and imaginative play.

Music may be used for certain activities and events, including parties, discos and themed sessions, as well as to signal parts of the day's activities.

Yes. We have a café and seating area where adults can sit while supervising their children.

Please be aware that seating can become busy during peak periods.

Everyone entering the venue must be included on the booking and pay any applicable admission charge.

Yes. Pregnant visitors are welcome at iTown.

Food and drink purchased from iTown should normally be consumed in the designated café and seating areas.
